Tuesdays with Morrie

Ever since I watched Tuesdays with Morrie, I’ve been a fan of Mitch Albom.  So, this past Sunday, I scrambled to the television to watch The Five People You Meet in Heaven.

Although the movie was appealing in that it had a Chicken Soup for the Soul kind of feel, I found the dialogue to be quite dull, and during the course of the movie, I had half a mind to switch the channel to catch Law & Order: Criminal Intent.

I decided to watch the rest of the movie, however.  It wasn’t a total waste, but I was expecting (and hoping) it would be more enlightening.

I should have known: the book is always better than the movie.

  1. no purevolume and saddle-creek are not like napster and kazaa. Saddle-creek(saddle-creek.com) is a record label which puts up tracks for download, and purevolume (purevolume.com) is a website where bands can post tracks for download. Free and legal, can’t get much better than that.
